Jan Woska

Jan blends expertise in sports and international law with hands-on diplomatic experience and a
deep understanding of global affairs. As Cultural Attaché at the Czech Embassy in Washington, D.C., he spent five years building and leading one of the most active sports diplomacy portfolios in the U.S.

He implemented projects across multiple U.S. states and connected European and American
sports leaders, clubs, and institutions. In the process, he collaborated with professional teams from the NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, as well as the Czech Olympic Committee and the Czech
National Baseball Team.

By using sport to open political doors, foster economic ties, and promote social inclusion, Jan has shown how the playing field can become a powerful platform for international cooperation. His cross-cultural fluency and strategic mindset make him a trusted partner in turning sports into smart diplomacy.

Maricielo is a seasoned digital media and communications professional with eclectic experience leading communications projects across NGOs, nonprofits, and international human rights organizations in Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. She brings a deep commitment to global connectedness and inclusive storytelling — her work centers on amplifying voices that bridge cultural divides and foster shared understanding across communities.

As Communications Manager at PassDiplomacy, she applies her expertise in digital strategy and cross-cultural communication to help shape messaging, navigate local media landscapes, and engage effectively across diverse markets.

Vojtech Sykora

Vojtěch brings a unique perspective to our team as a professional basketball player, currently the
captain of Sršni Photomate Písek and a member of the Czech national basketball team. He is in
his final year at the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague.

In PassDiplomacy, he is responsible for sports, market, and legal research, as well as document
drafting, and we value his forward thinking, attention to detail, and creativity.

Sports have taught him discipline, how to handle pressure, and a constant drive to be the best in everything he does. These qualities, together with his lifelong passion for sports, help balance his still-developing practical legal experience.
